Although women have lower rates of addiction than men, they are much more likely to suffer serious negative effects from addiction. They are also less likely to get support for their recovery and are more likely to have emotional difficulties in addition to their addiction. This intensive is a three-day program aimed at women with addiction and co dependency issues, and is designed to support the patient’s and care provider’s integrated continuum of care goals.
