I’m excited to share that I was recently featured in VoyageDallas as part of their Inspiring Stories series.

VoyageDallas highlights local business owners, creatives, and professionals who are building meaningful, values-driven work, and I was honored to be invited to share why I specialize in burnout therapy for therapists, helpers & caregivers in Texas, my path into this work, and the heart behind Sage Holistic Counseling.

Centering Burnout as a Systemic Issue, Not a Personal Failure

One of the reasons this feature felt important to me is that it allowed space to speak honestly about burnout — especially among people who are often expected to be endlessly resilient.

In the interview, I discuss:

Burnout is rarely about not trying hard enough. More often, it’s the result of long-term emotional labor, high responsibility, and systems that quietly reward self-sacrifice.

Therapy for Therapists, Helpers, and Caregivers in Texas

At Sage Holistic Counseling, I provide burnout therapy for therapists and helping professionals in Texas who feel depleted, resentful, or disconnected, even when they appear successful on the outside.

Many of the clients I work with:

  • Are high-achieving and deeply responsible for others

  • Struggle to set boundaries without guilt or fear of disappointing people

  • Feel pressure to “hold it together” no matter how exhausted they are

  • Have difficulty resting without anxiety or self-criticism

  • Are emotionally drained from caregiving roles at work, at home, or both

My work is trauma-informed, holistic, and grounded in the belief that healing burnout requires more than time off — it requires re-learning how to prioritize yourself without shame.

Gratitude for the Feature and an Invitation

I’m grateful to VoyageDallas for highlighting my work and for helping normalize conversations about burnout, boundaries, and emotional labor. Visibility like this matters, especially for people who have been taught to minimize their own needs.
